School Visits

at the Pink Pig

Complement their classroom learning with real-world experiences and lots of fun at the Pink Pig Farm, where children benefit from a whole new field of development and understanding.

School visits to our farm park are super enriching and educational, and leave pupils and teachers alike delighted with their day out.

The Benefits

Hands-on learning
A unique opportunity for experiential learning. Children see, touch and interact with farm animals, plants and machinery to make abstract concepts tangible.

Environmental education
Show them where their food comes from and why ecosystems and biodiversity matter, to inspire greater care for our planet and of their own eating habits.

Promote development
With three different play zones, there’s so much physical activity for them to enjoy. And interacting with peers in a new setting fosters their social skills too.

Stress reduction
Being in nature and interacting with animals has been shown to reduce stress and promote wellbeing, and our farm park provides a refreshing break.

Inspire curiosity
Enrich your children’s understanding of their local heritage, expose them to the wonders of nature and get them problem-solving how to manage resources.

The Day

Your children will find out what it feels like to farm in Lincolnshire with a tour of our grain barns and a good (safe!) look at our big machines. They’ll learn how and why we grow our crops and find out all sorts of fascinating information about our tractors.
