We’re building something new… Balance beam (and more) incoming!

Look who’s been testing out the toys before the kids get to them! 😄 Our lovely joiner Chris had a quick go on the brand new balance beam he’s building this week – part of a big makeover we’re working on in the play park. And yes, it is just as hard as it looks for grown-ups!

You might remember we sadly lost our big hay bale play area in the fire this summer, but bit by bit, we’re building something new and magical in its place… and this balance beam is just the beginning. Soon, it’ll be joined by several platforms for children to climb on and off, turning a few simple pieces of wood into a real adventure! It’s been wonderful working with Chris and seeing his talent as a joiner.

There are more changes on the way (shhh… we’ll share more soon!) but I couldn’t wait to show you this little sneak peek. It’s all being built with good old-fashioned fun in mind – the kind of thing that gets kids moving, laughing, balancing, and beaming. And you and yours can try it out from mid-November.

Join us for Pumpkin Festival - 18th and 19th October and all through October half term (until Saturday 25th)

If you’re visiting us for our Pumpkin Festival this October half term, keep your eyes peeled for our improvements as they carry on, and enjoy a FREE pumpkin for every paying child.

Pumpkin Festival is shaping up to be a real corker this year! We’ve got a HUGE pumpkin patch for picking, wheelbarrows at the ready, plus all the usual autumnal fun – pumpkin carving*, Windle the Witch, potion making, broomstick ‘flying’, farm animals, adventure play, soft play AND warm food to fill your tummies after all the fresh air.

(*Carving is undercover – so don’t worry about the weather!)

It’s our favourite time of year – where little witches, skeletons, and superheroes skip through the farm with muddy boots and bright eyes. Grown-ups dressing up is most definitely encouraged too!

Whether you’re here for the pumpkins, the play, or just a proper day out together – we can’t wait to welcome you.

📅 Open every day through October half term and for an extra weekend - 18th and 19th October – book online to save a few pennies! Find out more on our event page here.
