The Pink Pig Family Farm Trail is an adventure for children and a good chance to walk off lunch for adults.
The little ones will get in touch with their inner animals when they hunt for worms in our wooden maze, learn to "live like pigs", splash in the waterplay, swing in the bale pool, ride the tractors, play in the fort and – best of all – meet the pigs, calves, ducks, geese, sheep, miniature goats and guinea pigs.

About Us
The Jackson family has lived at Holme Hall for nearly 80 years, the farms covering 750 acres are based on two units 13 miles apart. Andrew and Sally now run the farm with their children Luke, Anna and Carrie.
About six years ago we converted 150 acres into organic production, pigs and poultry were introduced to add fertility to the organic rotation and little did we know that we were about to enter a massive learning curve in our lives. As Organic Farmers we are governed by the Soil Association and their rules. These rules cover every phase of production to ensure that all the produce is free from all chemical pesticides and antibiotics.

In summer 2000 we started selling our produce from a trestle table and from Brigg Farmers Market.
2001 saw our first shop/café open, an extension in 2004 saw the café develop to a 90 cover restaurant and our shop trebled in size.
We now market our own organic and non-organic produce and support many local Lincolnshire farmers by selling their home produced speciality foods in our shop.
In April 2007 we opened our Pink Pig Adventure and each year we are visited by some 1500 school children as well as playing host to the North Lincolnshire Food Festival.
Why Buy Organic?
Organic farming is the traditional way of producing high quality, healthy and tasty food without using man made products such as chemical fertilisers, pesticides and GM cropping. By caring for our animals' welfare and using balanced rotations, organic farmers can supply delicious and nutritious foods to the satisfaction of the consumer and nature combined. Medication such as antibiotics can be avoided by encompassing non intensive systems which mimic nature's evolutionary paths.
We believe you will taste the difference…

Why Buy Local?
Within the last few years many farmers including ourselves have diversified, either through necessity or to improve their returns and bypass the domination of the supermarkets. Some are marketing on the Internet, others through box schemes and farmers markets. Our close proximity to Scunthorpe gave us the opportunity to develop a farm shop and it is our aim to support local farmers and promote their produce in our shop. In this way we maintain rural employment and reduce the number of food miles (the number of miles food travels between producers and consumer) which in turn helps the environment by limiting the production of green house gases.
